The dogs who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge will always have a special place in our hearts. Though they’re no longer physically by our side, their paw prints remain forever etched in our souls. These loyal companions taught us the true meaning of unconditional love, joy, and loyalty. Each one left a lasting legacy of memories, laughter, and moments we’ll cherish for a lifetime.

While we miss them more than words can say, we find comfort knowing that they’re watching over us, running free, and waiting patiently until we meet again.

Destiny was born in Warrenton, Virginia at Tanasea Shiba Inus, bred by Debbie Meador and Shirley Shannon. Destiny was our Foundation Female at Timberfox, her outstanding temperament lives on in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren! We are honored to have had this special girl be part of our family for 16.5 years. Destiny was #4 Shiba Inu in Canada for 2007, and the #1 Female Shiba Inu in Canada for 2007 and was a multiple All-Breed Best Veteran in Show winner!

Indy was our first “Homebred” champion! He finished his championship at just 6.5 months and was #1 Shiba Inu in Canada in 2010, 2011 and 2012, he won an All-Breed Best in Show, 3 Regional, 3 National Specialties, numerous Best Veteran In Shows and achieved his Grand Champion Excellent title in 2011 and is only one of two Shiba Inu’s in Canada to achieve this, the other is his half-sister Lexi. He was an amazing dog whom we miss dearly, he lives on in his protégé and grand protégé.

Miya was our first Shiba and we learned a lot from her about this amazing breed! Miya didn't enjoy the show ring, she was pointed, and we were very proud of those points, Miya taught us to be humble and taught us that sometimes you are the windshield and sometimes you are the bug when showing dogs.

Cassie wasn’t a Shiba Inu but very much part of our family. She was our daughter Alyssa’s dog whom she got from Hilary Oakes of Sevenoaks English Setters. She was Alyssa’s constant companion, her junior handling partner, a multiple Best in Show and Best Veteran in Show winner and won the Canadian National Specialty in 2014. Cassie was a very well traveled Setter who enjoyed taking over many castles while she and Alyssa lived in the UK from 2015 to 2019. We are honored to have had this special princess be part of our family for 15.5 years.
